Ticketing Cops

Beware da PoPo

Our dishwasher started making an awful amount of noise. I think there was a loose piece somewhere, but there was no way I was going to be able to figure out how to tighten it.

The dishwasher was old, and loud to begin with. It was time to replace it.
My father-in-law drove his Trans Am over, with a few tools in the trunk, to help me install the new dishwasher.

We took the old dishwasher out of the kitchen, and moved the new one in. Everything went great until we realized the manufacturer replaced the old metal piece with a larger plastic nozzle. We had to make a Home Depot run.

As we climbed into the car, Tom came running up and begged to join us. He’d never ridden in a convertible, and it was his grandpa’s racecar. The entire way to the hardware store Tom babbled about speed. If he wasn’t asking how fast we were going, he was asking if we could go faster.

On the way home we told him we couldn’t go any faster, or we’d get in trouble with the police. He started babbling some nonsense I couldn’t quite catch. But the third thing he said was if we really wanted to get away from the cops, we could tickle them.

I mean, I guess that could work, but I’m really glad it was plan C.
